“Your goal is to be less wrong.” — Elon Musk

Anyone can read the Rules, the value comes when someone says,
“Let me tell you how that played out in my company.”
September 10, 2026: Turning Points is a developing network of executive study groups across the United States. We want to help you bring a group of local business leaders together to study the Rules, talk candidly about what works, what doesn’t, and how together, we can leave our profession of American entrepreneurism a little stronger than we found it.
There is no membership.
No email registration.
No annual dues.
No cost or obligation.
Just good people and honest conversation.

Find business leaders you respect. Turning points should be brutally honest, candid and real. Bring colleagues together who are willing to be vulnerable. This isn’t networking. It’s not a sales meeting. It’s a conversation between people who are building and leading companies in your community.
Pick a Rule. Our DISCOVER The Rules of Business page holds 100 guiding principles that America’s most-trusted leaders have turned to for decades. These are the fundamentals that get their teams refocused and their companies realigned.
Bring it to the table. Discuss the Rule. What does this Rule mean in the real world? Have you seen it work? Have you seen it fail? That’s where the real learning begins.
Challenge the Rule. We don’t expect everyone at the table to agree. A good conversation doesn’t just confirm what we already believe. It makes us think. Rule No. 25 —Ask better questions.
Share what you’ve learned. Every business leader has something worth passing along. A hard lesson. A mistake. A better way. Turning Points gives those experiences a place at the table.

The Insights You Share could be the Turning Point Someone else is waiting for
During and following every executive study group, we encourage attendees to submit your insights and best practices. Powerful stories and statements will be published, credited, and preserved as part of each specific Rules page, giving you and your organization national exposure.
We are on a mission to build America’s largest ongoing business leadership research project by preserving the collective wisdom of business owners and operators nationwide, from all industries. The Executives Institute is simply the container —you are the voice.
Have something worth sharing today? As long as you are the key decision-maker of your organization, we want to hear your story. Visit CONTRIBUTE ⌨️ Add Your Insights where you will also see our Content Integrity Statement and Privacy Policy. Only US-based businesses and their leaders will be considered for publication. We will verify your identity through LinkedIn or your company website.

Find a local Turning Points Group
As Turning Points Executive Study Groups grows, we’ll keep a simple directory of active groups across the country.
Looking for a group near you?
Check the directory below.
Each group may have its own simple recruiting or contact page where you can learn more about the people around their table and any costs associated.
The Institute charges nothing. Free materials are provided for every meeting. A local study group leader may choose to charge a facilitation, hosting or membership fee, that’s their decision, but there is no cost from the Institute itself.
What if there’s no group in my area, yet?

Join the Discussion
You don’t have to be part of a local Turning Points group to join the conversation. Each week, Kurt leads a discussion around that week’s Rule on his LinkedIn page, from his home in Tennessee. Individuals, business leaders and entire Talking Points groups are welcome to join in.
Read the Rule. Work through the week’s ourEDGE challenge. Then bring your thoughts, questions, experiences and notes to the LinkedIn discussion.
Your conversation doesn’t have to stop when you leave the table.
Our first official weekly discussion, starting with Rule No. 1, will begin Monday, January 4, 2027, 8:00amEST.
